Children's Yoga! Last Friday of every month, 6:00-7:00 pm Cost: $12 per child Join your child in an hour of yoga exploration! In this one-hour session we will discover how to transform our bodies into animals and plants through awakening all of our senses - including our sense of creativity! We will also learn amazing nature facts and practice deep breathing. Open to children ages 4 to 10, at least one adult must participate with the kids.

Couples Yoga Reunite with Your Partner! Second Saturday of every month, 6:00-7:30 pm Cost: $24 per couple Deepen your heart and soul connection through breath coordination, touch, and eye contact. All yoga poses will include physical connection. Give your partner this time to show him/her how deeply you care.

Moving IN Developing Your Personal Yoga Practice Saturday, March 13, 1:00 - 3:00pm Cost: $25 per person, $20 with a Student ID Many people understand how a regular Yoga practice can improve their health, allow them to manage stress and move with ease, and celebrate life joyfully. So why do so many people struggle to establish a home practice that will give them such benefits? What is it that stands in your way of experiencing vitality and peace through a consistent Yoga practice? The workshop Moving IN has been developed with you in mind, to give you tools, skills, and a deep inspiration to power your personal practice. This workshop is suitable for new and experienced students of Yoga. Discussion, asana, and take home materials will assist you in developing a consistent, safe practice. Get Rolling! Foam Rolling: Self Myofascial Release Technique Thursday, March 25, 7:00 - 8:30pm Cost: $25 per person, $20 with a Student ID Whether you feel stiff and sore from inactivity, from overtraining with vigorous exercise, or due to occupational stress, you can benefit from foam rolling. Self Myofascial Release technique stimulates circulation, and can help remove adhesions in the muscles of the body, helping you move with more freedom and ease. Think of it like massage treatment for your own body, where you know exactly what you need and how much pressure! Also, this technique requires us to support the body, creating a sense of concentration, core and shoulder stabilization, and total body awareness. You will leave this workshop feeling energized and inspired with skills you can use daily at home to maintain results.

Yoga Tricks for Runners Saturday, March 27, 3:00 - 5:00 pm Cost: $30 ($5 discount for members of Indianhead Track Club) Running is something humans have always done, but our modern lifestyle leaves us with some handicaps when we take to the pavement. Yoga has some important things to offer us. This workshop will teach how to use yoga based work with the feet, core, breath and alignment to minimize strain and injuries for runners.

Yoga~Pilates Fusion Series Tuesdays, April 6 - April 27, 8:00 - 9:00am Cost: $36 for the four week series Join Anna King for a fusion of Vinyasa style Yoga and mat Pilates! We’ll blend the best of both disciplines into one cohesive exercise. The emphasis will be postural alignment and core stability. We will combine floor exercises of Pilates and Yoga poses. Our class will run 60 minutes with the sound of soothing music in the background. Anna will guide you through the moves from the front of the class and we will finish with some deep relaxation exercises and meditation. Please wear non-restrictive clothing. A basic level of experience with either Yoga or Pilates is required.

Often in our daily lives we may neglect or disregard our physical
bodies by the way we live, work, and even think about ourselves. Too
many people in our culture accept illness, injury, or discomfort as
the norm. We define health as a lack of illness, rather than working
with desire toward our true imprint of health and vitality. You
surely have wondered if there is a way to live at home in your body,
moving through each day with energy and ease.
Blueprints offers you an opportunity to learn relevant Yoga
practices to assist you in your journey toward feeling at home in
your body, with a peaceful, clear mind and spirit. In this 6 week
course, we will explore anatomy, breathing, posture, and Yoga Asana,
giving you the confidence to practice and progress safely, receiving
rich benefits from your efforts. You do not need any prior experience in Yoga to join this group. A desire to learn and explore the human body will allow you to enjoy this workshop. Experienced practitioners may attend with a desire for applying these universal principles to improve the quality of their personal practice, opening to new opportunities to work with a deeper level of awareness. Participants with medical diagnoses or significant pain should consult with the teacher and their doctor/physical therapist before registration. Beginner's Yoga Series Tuesdays, April 13 - May 4, 9:00 - 10:15am Cost: $36 for the four week series This is an opportunity for beginners to be introduced to the basic principles and poses of yoga in a systematic way. Yoga for Digestion with Scott Anderson of Alignment Yoga Sunday, April 18, 10:00am-12:00pm & 1:30pm - 4:30pm Cost: $75 So many of us have found our digestion has weakened and foods that were once a joy, are now the ticket to indigestion.
